Say What?Overheard this conversation in an adjacent changeroom at H&M...
Guy: "These pants are too tight."Girl (outside): "Too tight where?? The bum??"
"Ya...amongst other things." (LOL)
"Okay so what size is that?? The 32s??"
"Erm...um...erm...ye...ah...""What about the striped ones??"
"Um...errr...erm...they're...okay I think.""Okay so those were 32s."
"Erm...yeah...the 30s were definitely too tight.""Alright lemme get you another pair."
<Girl comes back a minute later>
"Okay so which ones are you trying on now?? Are they good??"
"Erm...I...er...um..."By this time, I was done changing myself & as I walked out of the changeroom, I gave that poor girl a knowing smile. Man, some guys can be so helpess when shopping for clothes, lol. And when I was lining up to pay, I saw the girl going back to the rack again & grabbed at least 3 more pairs of pants for her friend/bf/husband to try on. Oh dear. xD

While waiting in line to pick up my Beyoncé tickets, the two women standing right in front of me just happened to be buying tickets for the same concert. After being told of what seats were available & at what price, they were stunned & decided to pass for now. After they left, I talked to the guy at the stand & reiterated the fact that, yes, the tickets REALLY are expensive for what you get!! In the beginning I was willing for pay a bit more to sit closer to the front, but when I found out that the only way to get tickets in the 100/200 area was to purchase a ridiculously priced package (think $600+), I said fuck it & moved on to cheaper seats. As it turned out, it cost $30 more just to sit in the middle versus the sides (FYI, that is not the case at
the ACC), & no way in hell was I going to a premium for that. So I ended up getting section 400, at the far edge, but thankfully the very first row (I got them after a few tries...someone must've given them up). I'm pretty happy with these seats, considering what I paid for them & the fact that I won't have to get there hours earlier just for a good spot (unlike the general admission lawn seats). And even though I doubt I'll be sitting much throughout the concert, at least I have the choice...& who knows, my legs might get tired after all the dancing, so having a chair is nice. =P
