Thick Skin(Told a few people about this, they all found it amusing, so I decided to share)
This morning, after dropping my mom off at the GO station, I drove back home, only to get stuck on the driveway. Since the driveway was not shovelled, there was about 10 cm of snow, enough to wedge my car in between the pavement & the end of the driveway. About a quarter of my car was still on the road, so I tried forcing through by stomping on the gas - didn't work. I tried backing out - didn't work either. So I had to get my ass out of the car, frantically run into the garage, grab a shovel & start shovelling snow away from my tires (at that point I can honestly smell burnt tires...that's how hard I stomped xP). The best part of it all, was while this was happening, I WAS STILL IN MY PJs. I of course did not expect having to get out of the car at all, since I was just driving my mom to the station, which doesn't take more than 5 minutes. But boy, was I wrong. Not to mention I was also wearing sneakers without any socks, so as soon as I stepped out, snow got into my shoes. O_O All in all, IT WAS COLD.
But I actually didn't care. I started laughing at how retarded I must've looked (thank God nobody was around) & just the whole situation in general. When life gives you lemons, you make lemon parfait!!
That's the beauty of living in Canada...& the beauty of being the idiot that is me. ;P
EDIT: Turns out, I'm gonna have to pick my mom up from the station too. You bet I'll be wearing some real pants this time, lol.
